**FREMONT JELLYSTONE PARK ™ 2018 THEMES**
May 18 – 20 Rise and Shine with Yogi Bear
Hoot and holler, make some noise! It’s time to wake Yogi, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear from their looooong winter hibernation with a pots and pans parade to start the 2018 camping season. Join us for breakfast with the bears on Saturday morning followed by an ice cream social and lots of fun crafts in the pavilion.
May 25-28 Stars & Stripes for Heroes
A weekend to come together to celebrate and honor the brave. Mad Dog and Merrill, of the Midwest Grill'n Television Show, nationally recognized and self-proclaimed “Grillologists”, will perform live from the park on Friday night. Climb aboard authentic rescue vehicles and chat with local first responders. Enjoy the “Hurricane Express” band on Saturday night and Good Tyme DJ on Sunday. Participate in a flag raising ceremony and fallen hero salute sponsored by a scout troop on Monday.
June 1st-3rd Cindy’s Hollywood Adventure
Who’s got talent? Fremont Jellystone Park will come alive with a talent show on Saturday afternoon at the theater stage. Next, enjoy the laughs as Cindy Bear dances to your karaoke stylings. Brush up on your movie trivia in case you see “Cindy’s Cash Cart” tooling through the park.
June 4 – 10 Mystical Magical Madness
Join us for magical, mystical fun! Trivia contests, puzzles, scavenger hunts just to name a few of the surprises in store for you this weekend! Ever want to be a magician? Well, here is your chance, as our favorite magician teaches you some tips & tricks after his amazing magic show on Saturday afternoon.
June 11-17 Papa “Palooza”
It’s all about dads, granddads or anyone you call “papa”. Come start your weekend off with Mad Dog & Merrill as they host a live BBQ Show on Friday night at 8 PM. Saturday, enjoy a breakfast with “papa” and the bears, neon bowling, crafts and games.
June 18-24 It’s all about “Marvel Action”
Who is your super hero? Storm, Spiderman, Iron man, Hulk, who’s it gonna be? Wear your super hero costumes and let’s see what super powers come out!
June 25-July 1 Ranger Smith’s – Jr Park Ranger
Ever wonder what it’s like to be a park ranger? Well, Ranger Smith will be here this week to lead us in becoming park rangers. Join us for park learning adventures and crafts while you earn an official Jr. Ranger certificate! Newly minted Junior Rangers will be recognized by the Remington Ride band on Saturday night!
July 2 – 8 Red/White and BooBoo
Bring your red, white and blue decorations and compete for best decorated site, best golf cart and best bicycle. Show off your decorations as Boo-Boo leads our parade throughout the park on Saturday. Who loves watermelon?? Join us for a watermelon eating contest! Crafts will include making tennis rackets for balloon tennis.
July 9 – 15 Wacky Racing
It’s all about crossing the finish line this week! Bring your remote control vehicles to the park for some head-to-head competition. Join in the wacky events including sack races, build your boat and race in the pool, build your own derby car to race. Saturday starts with breakfast with the bears followed by a color run through the park and ends with the band Hurricane Express!
July 16 – 22 Christmas in July
Ho, Ho, Ho Santa’s sleigh has arrived, come chill out with Yogi and friends. You could see a possible sighting from Mr. & Mrs. Claus. There will be plenty of winter crafts, snowball fights, site decorating contest, foam party with our DJ on Saturday, cookie decorating and candy making are just some of the jolly times you will have.
July 23 – 29 SCI-FI Sensations
Jump into space on a jumping pad, star gaze with your homemade telescope, make a planet mobile, enjoy the glow in the dark parade, team glo-bowling competition, and show your skills through our obstacle course.
July 30 – Aug 5 Water Warriors
There is nothing dry about it! Bring your towels and be prepared to get wet! Some of our activities will be a giant slip- n-slide, water balloon wars, water relay race, water gun fight on the hey-ride and a DJ pool party.
Aug 6 – Aug 12 Carnival for a Cure
Come help us raise money for a cure! Fun games and activities all week long, Saturday will feature an old fashion carnival with bake sale, Magician, Fortune teller and a Clown.
Aug 13 – Aug 19 Fiesta No Siesta
Enjoy the fiesta all week. Build a piñata early in the week and help us get ready for a Fantastic Fiesta on Saturday. Taco bar on Saturday, enter your home made salsa in the salsa tasting contest, jalapeno eating contest, dancing with the bears and so much more!
Aug 20 – 26 Pineapple “Pic-a-nic”
Let’s keep summer going. Share your favorite tropical drink recipe, get ready to ‘get low’ at the limbo contest. Learn the hula dance with Cindy, hula hoop contest, blow your Saturday night away with the Hurricane Express band.
Aug 27 – Sept 3 Fan “addict” Football Frenzy
Express your love for your team, show your colors and come play some ring football, then watch the game in the pavilion, while eating grilled hot dogs. Cheerleaders needed as well, make your pom-poms to cheer your team on! Which family will have the most team spirit?
Sept 7 – 9 Who Let the Dogs Out – 2nd Annual Pooch Plunge
Love your pooch. Our pool is closed so time for our furry friends to enjoy some water time. The pool will be open on Saturday for the 2nd annual pooch plunge. Dig for a buried treasure in the sand, pin the tail on Scooby, ‘dog’ eating contest for adults and children. Of, course there will be a contest for the best owner/dog look-alike!
Sept 14 – 16 It’s all about YOU – Family and Friends
It’s ALL about you! Join us for an appreciation lunch with a cook-out/pot luck and an ice cream social. Yogi will be hosting a campfire social with smores and lots of campfire stories. Bring your game face there will be a corn-hole tournament, bouncy house or obstacle course and many other activities packed with fun!
Sept 21-23 Oktoberfest
Fun. Fun. Fun. Come share your talents with your fellow campers. Bakers bring your goodies to sell. Crafters bring those crafts. There will be a brat fry and corn roast for dinner Saturday. Join us for fun fall activities as we wind our season down.
Sept 28 – 30 Spooktacular Halloween Weekend
Who loves a good scare? ‘IT’ does! If you haven’t stayed with us on our Halloween weekend, make your plans and book today! The Haunted Trail is an all time favorite and grows more each year. Kids will love our friendly haunted cabin, along with the site decorating contest. There are a lot of fun filled haunted activities for everyone.
